As of April 23, 2025, the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir has resulted in at least 28 fatalities and over 20 injuries. The assault occurred on April 22 in the Baisaran meadow near Pahalgam, where militants opened fire on a group of tourists. - The attack has drawn widespread condemnation globally. U.S. President Donald Trump, U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres, and other world leaders have denounced the violence and expressed solidarity with India .
- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reaffirmed Israel’s support for India in combating terrorism .
